Most of the trash that fills our landfills and oceans is a result of single use packaging. We have all seen marine life and animals suffering from these wasteful practices. If we don't start to think about reducing our consumption, "our oceans will contain more plastic than fish by 2050."

SUDSOURCE

“Every time I walk into a store, all I see is eventual garbage. It’s kind of depressing, but every item that we make, whether we buy it or not, is going to a landfill,” said SUDSOURCE Founder Kathleen O’Clock. “Everything you have has a life cycle. It’s going somewhere. And once you start seeing the world that way, it will invariably change your consumption habits. You won’t be as quick to buy something that you just throw away.”

SUDSOURCE believes in the power of packaging. All of their items are housed in either aluminum or glass, both of which are 100% recyclable, and all can (and should) be refilled. By offering refills for your products, SUDSOURCE is changing the way we think about the future of sustainable packaging, and consequently, the future of our oceans and planet.

“One of my favorite quotes is, 'We don’t need a million people doing zero waste, we need a million people just trying.' We take a lot for granted, and we all have blind spots, but the fact is it all makes a difference,” said Kathleen.
